Sunsets

Sundays tend to be busy. This one was different. My son was sick with a sinus infection. Unlike most weekends, this one we spent much of the day at home. I cooked, cleaned and of course worked on never ending laundry. Before bed I also wrote a few lines.

I wonder if you knew
Under a sky
So fair;
How much you meant,
Where once I
Would not dare,
Beyond frigid walls
My patience let dry;
If only I had met you
Before sunset's lullaby
