My Actifit Report Card: April 8 2026
Back to the hot Arizona weather so I had,a pretty tough 6 miles on the rocky trails up in the foothills.
I didn't push my pace on the narrow trails as I just wanted to put in some good mileage (even if the pace was a bit slow), plus the footing could be tricky in spots and I've taken more spills than I would like.
I worked up a good sweat and heart rate as I ran up and around the prominent hill before cruising down the still tricky sections to merge onto easier trails that headed gradually downhill through the nearby neighborhood and back onto the Blowout Trail before a final easy road stretch.
A hot walk along the Jail Trail where Lulu was quick to trot along down to the river for a welcome respite.
