Thanks @adammillwardart you're completely right about social media being it's own addiction in and of itself. In fact, I left it out because there is growing consensus that it is it's own issue to deal with even though it operates in a similar manner. The narcissistic tendencies though put it over the edge! (btw not calling you a narcissist lol)
Sorry didn't mean to go off topic lol One of my friends and my art biz mentor @chrisdyer calls social medias video games, you get points, likes, upvotes or whatever, there's "levels" where you can get "verified"or become an "influencer" etc.. lol
No worries and no apologies required - I like that analogy. There is a Black Mirror episode that functions just like this in life! Check it out if you haven't.
