Have you ever felt renewed after a detoxification incident, aka cold, flu, purge, food-poisoning, or elsewise?
The closest jones, your boy has, that could be described as a substance addiction, is sugar. I feel like I’ve mentioned this before, but maybe it’s coming up in a future episode, or some archive, or special street-studio album, or something.
Anyway, literally for decades Ego told Mind that sugar would be our last addiction. This year, 2026, (a One-Year), we did something about it.
Behind a series of physical ailments, that included a “head-cold,” (detox event), a swollen ankle that seemed to come out of nowhere, something called keratosis, and something the Trinity called, “the bottleneck, (which we diagnosed as “acid re-flux”), the “collective” decided that it was time for a purge. As usual, the answer was staring us in the face all the time.
“But it’s brown, (turbinado) sugar,” I’d say out loud, as I watched the cyber-docs I’ve been following for years now talk about all the trouble sugar causes in the vessel.
Being a character that is proudly, and almost boastfully outside of the medical industrial complex, (off-grid, as it were), we “must” stay on top of our well-being, less we get sucked into the system, turned into a perpetual “patient/customer” and have our joi de vie, independence, bank account and life-force drained right out of us.
There’s going be more on this renaissance during our next update episode will be March 31st. But here’s the back-story.
Four cups of tea a day for the last year or two. Every cup comes with a tablespoon of sugar and a pour of half-n-half. Coincidentally, it was right around the Pisces New Moon, (I’m Pisces), that we chose to start this detox process. Cold turkey. Obviously, by this post, we all, (Trinity, Collective, Vessel, Brain & the Organs), made it through to the other side, but we don’t want to spoil the first-hand account for you. (Coming Tuesday.)
We expect to explore the results and maintain it as a topic of conversation and exploration for the duration of this year at the very lease. Here’s a teaser for you. We didn’t quit drinking tea.
We came through the process feeling renewed, and that calls for some new ideas, strategies and tactics to propel us forward to our next major goal. More on that in tomorrow’s episode. Because we don’t have any heavy topic to explore today, we are going to add the intro from this date in 2025, to the audio. It was one of those cool experiences that improved my perspective of the hood, and confirmed my beliefs about Universe.
