Hi Steemians! If you follow the Gregorian calendar, I wish you a happy new month!

Today I am launching my first daily photo contest on the Steem blockchain. The idea is to get everyone having fun again on here. I feel the energy has dropped dramatically - especially amongst new comers - due to the low price of Steem and other factors. I would like to do my bit in changing that.

This will originally be for one month (this December), but depending on its success, I will make a decision to carry on.

Back when I first got on the blockchain almost a year ago, it was really exciting to be here. There was a lot of engagement and fun things to do. Even though, yes, the price of Steem was quite high compared to now, I wasn’t earning much of it. We stayed for the community.

Anyhow, lets get straight to it. The contest is simple.

Every day I will announce a theme. I will also post an example photo that I have taken along with the theme. All you have to do is post your photo in the comments section along with a short paragraph about the photo. Please adhere to the rules below.

I will then go through the list after 24 hours to upvote the winners accordingly.

Rules:

1. Anybody can enter, but only 1 entry per person.
2. No plagiarism!
3. No stock photos, you must ONLY use your own photos.
4. Post the required photo in the comments section.
5. Minimum of 20 words about the photo.
6. Votes will happen after 24.
7. Totally at my discretion.
8. The cut-off for posts is 24 hours after the post goes up.
9. (OPTIONAL) - Follow, Upvote, Resteem

Rewards:

100% upvote for 1st place.
50% upvote for 2nd place.
25% upvote for 3rd place.
