First Walk

Lucy took her first few steps into her normal life yesterday. It was a quick five minutes into Nolde Forest and back to the van but she completed her first "hike" since surgery. I have not seen her this happy in awhile, I'm feeling blissed out at the fact that we could walk into the woods together. This dog is an extension of my entire being, to see her healthy is a blessing. I'm loving these first couple of trips we've taken in Brad's van, I cannot wait for the inside to be complete and to start traveling this beautiful country with our fur kids. Diesel loves the van just as much as I do, if not more- where Lucy is not quite fond of it but these little trips will get her loving it in no time.
