My First Post
So I have been told I need to start a blog of some sort in order to share my adventures and experiences. Currently writing is not my best skill but overtime I am determined to improve so bare with me.
I can not tell you the exact date when it all started, only because I am not entirely sure, but it was roughly 7-10 years ago. Up until my mid 20's I'd been in retail management and excelled at what I did. I was happy, but something was missing.
I went from being in the Midwest a majority of my life, to traveling to as many states as I could by whatever means necessary. No plans, no schedule, no hotels, and the kicker... No $$$.
I've lived in the woods, the desert, hopped trains, been on a greyhound, an Amtrak, to the top of the mountains, hitch hiked, and best of all... I met countless people all with their unique characteristics and influences.
What I plan to bring to you in my future posts are photos, videos, and stories of adventures that most only dream of. I'm barely over 30 now and can say with confidence I have seen and experienced more than most people do in their entire lifetime.
I still have a never ending thirst for adventure that I can't seem to fulfill. I plan to bring you posts on a regular basis of both my past adventures along with new explorations.

Wow 😮! I’m so impressed, your a very good writer @pohlman, you have a hidden talent, fantastic. I am really looking forward to your posts, and you telling us about your many abventures on the road, it sounds great. I bet all us dog lovers would like to know your dogs names! Your a wonderful photography as well, you have a good eye for it like Rick does. My favorite picture is Zelda, what a cutie! I’m so excited that your now on steemit. Your going to have fun here, I’m on here everyday posting my artwork, you can always come to my blog if you want to reach me for something. I think this will be great mental therapy for you, writing your thoughts down, remembering all the great adventures you have had. I’d love to know about how you and Robert are doing, I pray very well, please say hi for me. I draw these little pictures for people, and give them as gifts like greeting cards, so here’s my HAPPY HALLOWEEN 🎃 gift to you. May God continue to bless you dear friend abundantly for eternity, I love you lots, hugs and kisses 🤗😘❣️
You're 100% accurate about the photos. I just dug out my HDD and spent the last 30-40 minutes looking up tips on how to organize photos. They are in such disarray at the moment. It will feel great once they are sorted :)
Hey, awsome you replied back! You know that there’s lots of photograph contest here on steemit, you really should look into that. And then do a little write up where the picture was taken ... blah blah blah. People here are really interested in the write ups. If you took fun pictures and poses of you dogs, I’m telling you that your followers would grow. And I think you’d have a blast doing it, you’ve got such a creative mind, this is another outlet to use it very productivity. You and I both know, if we can’t be creatively thinking about possibilities, we’re not fulfilling our needs. This has been a great outlet for me, because I can create here, and make a little money without any inventory taking up space, that I do not have. Alls I need is my mind, and it’s good to keep it active, it’s healthy for me!
You know I should have started dong this on day one. Dont know why i never did. Are you ever on here still?
