Question for those who might know the answer...

I just recently joined Steemit, and had posted my first blog; but it was a mother trying to do so on my iPhone. This was so because I couldn't log in on my laptop, even though it was the same password. Do I need to reset my password?( I can for some reason use it fine on my phone) Am I able to create a simpler password? It would be so much nicer (and simpler) to be able to use my laptop. Any help/advice in this matter is much appreciated.
