How to choose a travel hookah

in #aed14 hours ago

I am planning a few trips to the desert and the beach soon and I want to take a hookah with me. My current one is way too big and made of glass, so I am afraid of breaking it during transport.

Does anyone know of a good "travel" version that is durable and comes with a carrying bag? It needs to be easy to clean because I won't have a full kitchen available. Any tips on what to look for in a portable kit?

For travel, you definitely want something made of polyacetal or thick stainless steel with a plastic base. Glass is your enemy when you are out in the desert or on a boat. There are some cool "cube" hookahs or very short ones that are designed specifically for this. I often browse https://s2b.ae/ to see the latest portable arrivals because they get the newest compact designs. Look for something that comes with a dedicated padded bag so nothing rattles around. Also, make sure the hose is easy to wash under a simple tap.

A magnetic connector for the hose is also a big plus so you don't lose small parts in the sand. Are you planning to use quick-light coals or will you have a heater for natural ones?

I definitely want to use natural coals because the quick-light ones smell terrible. Do they make portable coal heaters that I can plug into a car or use with a small gas stove?

You can get a small gas burner that works perfectly for outdoor sessions. Just be careful with the wind when you are lighting them. For the best portable gear, check out S2B in Dubai since they have all the travel-sized accessories. They have some really rugged sets that are perfect for beach trips.
