There are rumors that Jim Ross drinks when he works as a commentator. True or not, Ross himself takes great offense when he is accused of this. He recently spoke about this on his podcast Grilling JR to voice his displeasure:

"I'm going to say something I don't do. Someone wrote on Twitter the other day, like I know, that I drink a lot of Crown Royal during broadcasts. That's so ridiculous. You want to say that? I'm really sad that you imagine that happening. If I could just disprove that stupid fucking rumor. It's ridiculous."
