Both if the world's super powers have tried to take Afghanistan, and they both have failed.
The notable thing about Trumps u-turn is the tacit admission by him that rhetoric can only get you so far, at some point you have to begin dealing with reality.
I think we are definitely entering a new phase of world history where we move from the monopoly of UK 1.0 -> US aka UK 2.0 -> UN aka UK 3.0 "ruling the waves" under the direction of the 'Goldberg'ses and 'Finkelstein'ses, to a new multipolar world order (with some 10-20 big regional poles worldwide).
This whole Iran - Korea (with Cuba the only last countries with no Rothschild bank) and Afghanistan thing, are just the desperate last spasms of these world monopolists.
The most and absolute stupidest thing they could have done was to start pulling Ukraine out of Russia zone into the West. What were they thinking? This huge mistake shows that they have lost grip with reality and their evil empire has entered his last phase of decline.
