How to get your posts noticed- Blue-Pencil writing tips! Day 12

 Writing tip of the day!

When you write a post and you need to gather some information from the internet, please make sure to cite all your sources.  If you don't indicate your sources, it might result in you being flagged for plagiarism.

It is advisable that you write the post on a word document first and then read through the post when done, before pasting it in your steemit blog. Make sure that all your picture sources and your other information sources are visible on the post after pasting.  Once you have edited and checked your blog, you are ready to post.

If you spend the proper time on a post and put in some effort commenting on other posts to promote yourself, then you will succeed.  Our advice is to do one meaningful post per day.  Less is more!

If you have tried all of the above and your posts are still not noticed, then we have the solutions to ALL of your problems!

2.  Send the link you need edited to your chosen editor.  They will read the post and check if it is editable. If they accept, they will inform you of the fee payable. Prices vary depending on post length and quality.

3.  Transfer the SBD to the editor's account and send them a message with proof of payment.

4.  Once the post has been edited, the editor will send you the revised post. When the revision is complete, your editor will send you the edited version. At the bottom of your post, you will place the sentence: This post has been edited by a member of the @blue-pencil team.

5. After you have made the changes to your post, message your editor again, and they will comment on your post to confirm it has been edited by @blue-pencil. The editor will then resteem your post under the blue-pencil blog.

Rules for editing:

Only post links to articles that are no more than 2 days old. Steemit pays out on the 7th day a post has been live. It would not be worth it to you to edit a post on day 6.

If you have not yet published your article and would like your editor with you from the beginning, please talk with them about your ideas.

NO plagiarism! We use a good plagiarism checker and you will NOT succeed in posting translated material from a different language. That is also considered plagiarism!

Use ONLY legal images. You can find these in Creative commons, Pexel.com and a number of royalty free, attribution free sites.

Follow @blue-pencil to get updates on editors availability, and for helpful writing and posting tips and advice!

We get a lot of requests! Editing is on a first come, first served basis.

Editors require payment in advance! We do NOT guarantee a good payout but your posts will be more adaptable.

Have fun! Steemit is a community of support and encouragement!

Enjoy and make friends :)

We appreciate your support!

ok, but you didn't say how much SBD? 1?

Sorry for the late reply. It is up to each editor to set their own rate. On average you can expect to be charged between 3 to 5 sbd or steem. How much is charged is determined by how hard a post is to edit, and how long the post is. For more information contact one of the above editors and they can give you their price.
