I Spent 3 Hours Trying To Fix A Bug... AI Solved It In 3 Seconds

This is either the beginning of the future or the end of my career. Maybe both lol

Here's the story:

I've been stuck on this one bug for 3 HOURS. THREE. I tried everything. StackOverflow, docs, crying (okay not really but close 😂)

Finally frustrated, I pasted my code into AI and typed: "why is this not working"

You know what it did?

It not only found the bug in 3 seconds... it EXPLAINED why I was wrong... and gave me the fix... and even suggested a better way to write the entire function.

I literally sat there for 5 minutes staring at my screen.

3 hours of my life. 3 seconds for AI.

Now here's the thing - I'm not saying we should all quit coding. But after today, I genuinely don't know what the future of programming looks like.

So I'm curious:

• Devs: are you using AI daily?
• Non-devs: does this scare you or excite you?
