RE: The future of Steem is AI: We can lead, or we can follow

in #ai6 days ago

Greetings, internet friend! I've been reading your latest posts but couldn't stop to properly reply until now. Firstly, I really like to think about how AI is already impacting so many different social media platforms, and Steemit is really lucky to have a person like you bringing up the discussion to this network. I learned about Data Dignity via one of your posts last year, and I still find it a great idea, especially since I've been working with training some of these models, which has given me a new perspective about how it learns and improves. I'm obviously a big fan of your creation Thoth, and "ask" by @justyy has also definitely got its value to the network. However, I wanted to point out the suggestion made by the model in this same comment section, in the topic "The Potential for Leadership", where it states that Steem could position itself as the "leader of decentralized social media". I believe that it has the potential to go even further: to be the leader in creating a digital environment for AIs to interact within a decentralized social media, for the multiple reasons you've already brought up. For the better or for the worse, these generative AI models are not disappearing soon, therefore everything that wants to continue thriving needs to adapt to it. The powerful play continues, and you may contribute a verse. I hope to contribute positively in some way, whatever these developments might be. I hope you have a nice week over there!
