Human labor will go to zero?

I mean, in general. There are exceptions of course. Non-fungible labor, where the scarcity is that it’s a particular person, will actually go up. So like hiring a famous artist to decorate your house. Or do a bespoke tattoo.

And even if it’s fungible but the value proposition is that it’s a human, rather than the labor output. Like maybe having a ye ole fashioned live human barkeep in the vintage style saloon. Sex work, Broadway dancers, stuff like that will be of that sort. Empathy jobs too.

But the significant majority of what is compensated human labor is valued only for the work product. That will go to zero.

It already has in many respects of course. We just keep finding new next-level things for people to do. But that won’t continue. There won’t be anything people can do that will get ahead of the ability of much lower cost output by machines.

I didn’t mean to be controversial. I figure it’s pretty much a given.
