A bridge collapsed in my hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA about 10 years ago. An 8 lane highway bridge fell into the Mississippi River killing 13 people. I had driven over that bridge a thousand times before but luckily I or anyone I know wasn't there at that time.

Very scary.
