Video vlogging is a great way to share your experiences and the environment around you with others in these times. In today's blog, I have brought you a piece of afternoon at Ghat No. 5 on the Shitalakshya River in my beloved city Narayanganj and the ever-familiar Kalam Bhai's tea shop. This place is a piece of peace for me amidst the hustle and bustle of mechanical life.

1. Why did you choose this place for your video vlog, and what makes it special or unique?

For this competition and for my video vlog, I have chosen Ghat No. 5 of Shitalakshya River, the heart of our Narayanganj, and Kalam Bhai's tea shop on the banks of the river. The main reason for choosing this place is that it is not just a geographical location, but an integral part of our daily lives.

The Shitalakshya River, which flows through the heart of Narayanganj, is an emotional name for our local people. This Ghat No. 5 area of ​​Shitalakshya River always has a kind of vitality, which acts as a unique background for my video. Also, located on the banks of Shitalakshya River, Kalam Bhai's tea shop is not just a place for us to drink tea, but it is a meeting point for the local residents of Narayanganj. The laughter and tears of the common people who come here at Ghat No. 5 of Shitalakshya River, the busyness of work and the peaceful atmosphere of the riverbank at sunset make it different and special from any other entertainment center. "Basically, this genuine chat, free from artificiality, and the feeling of being close to nature that has always drawn me to this place is what I wanted to highlight in my vlog."

2. What are the main attractions, activities, or historical and cultural features of this location?

​Our Narayanganj's Shitalakshya River's No. 5 Ghat area is, in a word, 'alive'. One of the main attractions here is the movement of large cargo ships and small boats floating on the river, which reflects the vitality of our economy.

​This place is very rich in terms of culture. Various types of people meet all day long on the banks of the Shitalakshya River. Some people come here to relieve the fatigue of busy work, while others come to chat with old friends. But one of the special parts of my blog is 'Kalam Bhai's tea shop, just like Kalam Bhai is a person, the tea in his shop is also incomparable.' This tea shop on the banks of the river has become an integral part of our local culture. Because every afternoon, people of different professions and ages gather here. Even when we sip on the steaming red tea cups of Kalam Bhai's shop and talk about politics from home and abroad to our own lives, the place becomes a small town. However, I think the busy lifestyle here, the cool breeze on the banks of the river, and the simple chats of ordinary people are what make this place historically and culturally unique.

3. What was your personal experience while visiting this place, and what did you enjoy the most?

Every moment spent at Ghat No. 5 on the banks of Shitalakshya River in Narayanganj is a very refreshing experience for me. When the busyness and work pressure of our current mechanical life increases, this Ghat No. 5 area becomes my only refuge. Sitting on the banks of this Shitalakshya River and looking at the river, my mind becomes lighter, and especially if I have that famous red tea from Kalam Bhai's tea shop with me, then there is nothing else to say!

​I like those beautiful moments of mixing with the people on the banks of the river the most. After coming here to hang out at Kalam Bhai's tea shop on the banks of Shitalakshya River at Ghat No. 5, when I stand with my camera in hand, I talk to many people, both familiar and unfamiliar, and see their smiling faces. Even sitting on the banks of the river at sunset, when the sky spreads an orange glow and falls on the riverbed, and at the same time, the gentle sound of the river's water waves comes to my ears, that's when I like this scene the most. "It taught me that the true joy of life is actually hidden in some very simple moments. But in this blog of mine, I have tried to share with you exactly that feeling of peace and well-being."

4. What advice or tips would you give to visitors who plan to visit this place in the future?

I would like to say one thing, especially for those who are planning to visit Ghat No. 5 of Shitalakshya River and Kalam Bhai's tea shop in Narayanganj in the future, I have some personal and sincere suggestions. However, below are some suggestions:

• Selecting the right time: The best time to visit Ghat No. 5 on the banks of Shitalakshya River in our Narayanganj district is from 4 pm to 6 pm. Because during this time, the cold breeze of the river will remove your fatigue from the whole day, and you will be able to enjoy the extraordinary form of sunset on the river bank very well.

• ​Tasting special tea: Kalam Bhai's tea shop is located on the banks of the river at Ghat No. 5 of Shitalakshya River. And don't forget to drink his special red tea or milk tea when you come to this Kalam Bhai's shop. The taste of this tea along with the gentle breeze of the river will make your chat more lively.

• Boat Trip: If you want, you can take a 10-15 minute boat ride on the banks of the Shitalakshya River from any small boat at Ghat No. 5 of the Shitalakshya River. It is especially nice to see the atmosphere of the ghat from the river. However, before boarding the boat, be sure to agree on the fare with the boatman.

• Keeping the environment clean: The banks of the Shitalakshya River, located in the heart of Narayanganj, are the property of all of us. So, do not come here and spoil the environment of the river by throwing packets of chips, plastic cups or one-time tea cups everywhere. Help keep this beautiful place clean by throwing garbage in the designated places on the river banks.
