Wow benadryl knocks me out

I have been dealing with a horrible allergy that caused my hands to start peeling not good for a musician.
I've tried so many remedies nothing I have tried so far has worked. So miserable and fed up decided to go against my better judgement and try the mood altering benadryl I took once when I was a kid and that shit gave me temporarily turrets got me in a bit of trouble with my mom when she tried to wake me up for school and I cursed her out so I never took it again till 2 days ago I just now woke up lol and I feel like I have a hangover.
