BLM: Perception versus Reality Part 2
My fellow American please take to heart BLM is an organization run by liberal females and lesbians. Black Liberal Female worships at three altars listed in order of importance.
• The Feminist Altar
• The Globalist Altar
• The Racial Altar•
The BLM and feminist movements relegate the Black man to the status of sperm donor. In the article “The Myth of the Two Parent Home,” by, Dr. Christiana Cross, site research in the belief that “access to resources is more important than family structure matters for Black kids' success.” Cross’ primary position implies money can offset the absence and even replace the father in a Black home.
My position is that no man, especially Black men, should have anything to do with BLM; not the slogan, ideologies nor the organization. Why would a man support something that principally sees him as the problem? BLM is committed to his emasculation and humiliation of manhood.
So why do straight men support this group? This is a deep and loaded question that goes far beyond this article. However, I will list three reasons and give them cursory attention.
• Feelings of disenfranchisement
• Lack of real community
• Fatherlessness
We have been intentionally programmed and conditioned to have a victim mentality. Victims never accept responsibility nor exercise the power of choice, life “happens to them.” One way to overcome victimology is good parenting. Post-Civil Rights movement, Blacks lost their community and “sense of community”. The Civil Right Act (CRA) successfully accomplished what Segregation, Jim Crow and the Klan never could. Through assimilation the CRA effectively eradicated the Black Community. Black Flight depleted the best and the brightest from our ranks. With no one community, there can be no community standard. Everyone is left to do what is right in their own eyes. In other words, you will have chaos, anarchy and the introduction of crack. And at the heart of every strong community is the nuclear family with the father as the head of the household. People often want to compare Blacks with other communities. A particular favorite is the Asian community. They like to point out how Asians overall fare better in every demographic than Blacks. What they never take into consideration is the destruction of the Black Community by the CRA. That destruction through assimilation was intentional just as it was for the Indians. Consider that the CRA was never about Black empowerment. It was about Black inclusion. In a race to the top, this places Blacks at a decided disadvantage.
Remember, Black Lives Matter has no vision for the nuclear family, the straight Black man, fathers, or the community as a whole. So, the real issues that plague the Black community will never be addressed by them. Which again, begs the question; why would I support them?
I have heard BLM's goal is to bring awareness to injustice and police brutality. However, they are not about solutions that impact the Black community. Defunding the police is not a solution to any of the ills that plague Black America.
