Ambassador bridge is a must see!

Have you ever been to Windsor?
If not, then this city is the next destination that you must visit. So, Windsor is in Ontario, the southernmost city in Canada.
It is on the southern shore of Detroit River, and it is directly across the river from Detroit. Besides all the facts about the city, it has something really special to offer, and
you will enjoy every minute of your stay. Another thing you should know about this wonderful city is that it’s industrial and manufacturing heritage are responsible for how the city
has been developing throughout the years. So, basically, you will love this city!
There are many attractions that you have to visit while you are visiting Windsor and one of many is the Ambassador bridge. The name of the bridge sounds promising!
So, the bridge is a suspension bridge which connects Detroit (Michigan, US) with Windsor (Ontario, Canada). Which means that it is an international border crossing in North America and it is one of the busiest in terms of trade volume; basically 25% and more of all merchandise trade that is going on between the United States and Canada crosses the troll bridge.
The statistics should that in 2004 thanks to the busy bridge, 150,000 people had jobs, and the earn was up to 13$ billion in annual production. So, the bridge is a business bridge which brings money and jobs to people. It is something special, I have to say. So, go take a look at this important, historical bridge that is not just a bridge, it is more than that.
Back in the days, the busy bridge was owned by Grosse Pointe, billionaire Manuel Moroun, through the Detroit International Bridge Company and the Canadian Transit Company.
He bought the bridge when in 1979 was put on the New York Stock Exchange, and he bought the bridge! Why not?! It is a bridge, why wouldn’t you buy a bridge if you can?!
Besides the trading, the bridge carries around 70% of commercial truck traffic in the whole region.

The total bridge length is 7,500 feet / 2,286 km. Constructions of the bridge began in 1927, and the bridge was finished in 1929, and the approximate number of vehicles crossing the bridge annually is 7.5 million.
