Wandering Around a New City
Every once and awhile I have to remind myself I am living abroad and take some time out to enjoy this beautiful European country, I now call my home.
My wife and I had a day to ourselves so we decided to go to a new city on the coast and do some window shopping and enjoy some coffee.
It is rare that we get any time alone so I was able to have a renewed sense of awe about this historical and wonderful place. Germany is where we want to be, it is where our children will grow up and its so crazy to me having grown up in a small town in Wisconsin, USA.
I don't think I will ever get sick of these buildings, most of them older than the state I was born. My imagination runs wild when I think about all the events they have witnessed and the stories they could tell.
The hardships they have endured and the magnificence they have seen.
I'm sure these guys have some stories to tell as well!
Have a safe and enjoyable weekend everyone!
You're clearly up in the north somewhere... but which town did you visit?
Eckenförde! Baltic Sea. Kind of ritzy, but really nice and clean.

Howdy sir badger! I love this post! What great old buildings, totally unique from our style over here, very interesting architecture. You've come a long way from your start in a small Wisconsin town!
