I'm watching reviews of Elite Dangerous right now. Is the Horizons DLC worth it?

Depends how much time you have on your hands :)
It's on sale until later today for 5€ but after watching reviews I'll just grab the original version. The expansion seems like a complete mess, without any interest at all.
Ah yes, I forgot there was an expansion :) The original has kept me busy for a few hundred hours, good enough for $30 - about what I paid a few years ago.
