Have you ever wondered why they are called 'Abs' and 'Glutes'

Well... That is because Abs are the abdominal muscles that protect the organs of the abdomen, while the Glutes are the butt muscles that protect the vital structures in the butt.

What makes up the abdominal and butt muscles?

For the Abs, there is transversus abdominis, rectus abdominis , external oblique and internal oblique muscles.

As for the glutes, there is the Gluteus maximus, Gluteus medius and gluteus minimus
