I hope you guys are well. So lets talk about the difference between Android and iOS operating systems.

So lets start the comparison....


Developer :Google developed Android & iOS is developed by Apple.

1st Release Date :Android was first released on 23th September of 2008 and iOS was released on 27th July 2007.

1st Release Version : The first Version of Android is called Android A(Alpha) and iOS is called iOS 1.

Source : Android is Open Source but iOS is closed.

Base OS :LINUX is the base of Android and for iOS it is OS X, Darwin OS.

Customizability :Android is full customizable. On the other hand iOS is limited.

Applications Source : Play Store(Also third Party Websites or Market) for Android and App Store(Only Store) for iOS.

Security: Android is less secure that iOS cause it has third party app source.

OS Update Support: New iOS supports on older iOS devices but Android doesn't.

Full Control: Android users have full controls on their devices but iOS users don't.

File Managing: Android have stock and Third Party file manager but iOS doesn't.

File Transfer: You can transfer any file between you PC and Mobile but with iOS you can only transfer Photos and for other media files you will be needing iTunes desktop app.

Battery Life: Android is more battery hungry than iOS. But Android has scope to add larger battery size.
