Goliath tigerfish his back was olive and a silvery stomach. But if you look at it, what you will remember is its jagged mouth, there are 32 pointed teeth and sharp. Each tooth can grow to an inch in length. Goliath teeth growing on the edge of his jaw - this monster almost without lips. And when the teeth are immersed in the prey, then the pieces that occur almost like a piece of scalpel. These features, combined with his muscular body, make Goliath like a natural killer machine.

Goliath tigerfish likes turbulent waters, where other fish struggle against the current, making them vulnerable to attack. Goliath has excellent vision and the ability to sense the low-frequency vibrations emitted by the prey. This fish usually surrounds other less fortunate fish before pouncing on it with piranha brutality. Goliath has been known to pounce on a catfish weighing 27 kg and actually slicing it in half. Goliath age in the wild, is not known for sure, but they can live 10 to 15 years in captivity.
