HOW THE KEEP THE POSSUM OUT? LOOKING FOR REMEDIES

At 4 am, there are unusual noises in the backyard. I go into my backyard porch and my flashlight found the culprit. Any ideas what I can do to keep this guy out?

I have intention of damaging him. Any humane ways?

Short of taking care of them the drastic way - get yourself a couple cans of fine ground pepper and sprinkle it "EVERYWHERE"...

I have 2 dogs, Maltese. They can do squirrels but that’s about it.

the main predators of the opossum are birds of prey such as owls and eagles

Buy an Owl? A fake one that has a motion sensor and makes noise as the possum comes close.
