Snake Rote's Snake Turtle
This type of long-necked turtle can indeed be found in some countries other than Indonesia.
However, the Snake Neck Turtles or Chelodina mccordi which are endemic to Indonesian animals can only be found on Rote Island, East Nusa Tenggara. This animal is so rare that by IUCN is set out in the category of endangered animals.
As the name suggests, the Snake Rote Tortoise has a long neck resembling a snake. The head with its long neck can not be pulled into the shell. Therefore, this snake's turtle can only fold his neck beside his shell. This type of turtle from the Chelidae family is a freshwater turtle. The food starts from small fish, insects and plants.
