MACRO - earthworms

Earthworms are tubular and segmented worms in Annelida phyla. They are commonly found living on the ground, feed on living organisms and die. The digestive system runs through its body length. Earthworms respirate through the skin. Earthworms have a dual transport system consisting of a fluid of fluid-moving fluid seloms and a simple closed circulatory system. It has central and peripheral nervous system.

The central nervous system consists of two ganglia over the mouth, one on either side, connected to a neural rope running back along its length to motor neurons and sensory cells in each segment.
