Lucky for you you brought a 600mm lens (don't even know what that exactly means hehe 😅) but sure did make you take a great picture of that leopard.. Always wanted to see real giraffes, to see how long their necks really are.. ^^
The giraffe are really weird animals when you get up close to them. When they are running, their bodies are moving in slow motion, but they are covering so much ground.

I got to see a lot of them. This picture is from a few hours before we even got to the Serengeti. This was just roaming around by a store we stopped at to get snacks.
That's really nice, them not being caged nor chained.. You're very lucky you get to see these animals.. I only see them on TV like NatGeo and also in books.. 😅
What a picture! I've never been on safari but to see something like this would be amazing! If I ever go, I will definitely need to buy a better camera :)
It really is worth spending the money on a nice camera so that you can have really nice pictures of the experience.
Nice shot! Even in that angle it looks intimidating. I haven't been to safari but the closest I got to see animals is in the zoo. I would like to see a giraffe. I haven't seen one.
Thanks. After I took this picture, he rolled over and was inviting me into rub his belly. Either that or he wanted to get me close and then eat my face. Either way, I still wanted to go in and touch him, but the driver wouldn't get closer.
Show off lol! Would you dare though to rub his belly?
I think if I got double dog dared I would have to, those are the rules.
That makes you braver than me then. It will take me a lot of dares for me to do that.
My favorite is Cheetah.
This was as close as we got to the cheetah. I was hoping to be able to get some running shots.

Thank you. I want to go to the ocean and get a waterproof case and try to get some pictures like yours. They are ones you don't see too often.
I hope in the next year or two to get to travel to places to get photos like these. I love nature photography it is my favorite with toddlers and babies being a very close second.
If you ever get the chance to, you won't regret it. It is so amazing and life changing. If you do go to Africa, make sure you spend time with the people. They are the best part. The animals are cool and all, but the people are the most special part of Africa.
That is always the best part of traveling is the people you meet. Oh btw your cards should arrive by Thursday
