At a glance this animal is very similar to the iguana, but much smaller. Male chameleons usually have horns, fins and neck wrinkles on their heads. There are only 2.5 cm in size such as the Brookesia chameleon, but other species can reach 60 cm. Chameleons usually have long, slightly flat bodies and tails that can be used to cling to a branch. Like other lizards the chameleon has a rough-textured skin. The rear legs have two inner fingers and three outside fingers. The front legs have the opposite arrangement of radius.
The protruding eye is almost completely covered by the eyelids, leaving little part open. Both eyes can look in two different directions in all directions. His tongue is useful for catching prey, which can extend longer than his body. The chameleon shoots its prey with its tongue in just 0.07 seconds.

Can Change Skin Color
This little animal is famous for its ability to change skin tone to imitate the surrounding environment. Chameleon skin color is usually green, yellow or brown. Chameleons can change the color of their skin. Chameleons usually change the color of their skin when exposed to stimuli such as light, temperature and emotion. For example when angry chameleons tend to change the color of his skin becomes darker. The ability to change skin tone is used by chameleons to search for prey and protect themselves from predators by imitating the surrounding lingungan colors.
