Amazing Monkeys in front of my house in Phatthalung, Thailand

Have you ever seen monkey? I think no one say “no”, right? That is because monkey is an animal that is well known to human… We can say that monkeys are the most intelligent animals in the world.

Do you love monkey? For me, it’s one of my favorite animals, but sometimes they are very naughty… For example, one monkey took a coke can from the hand of my mother who walked beside me in a temple long time ago! No one bewared of the monkey! It did this really quickly! We both were much surprised about this matter.

However, I think they are so cute and really amazing.

Have you ever seen a troop of monkeys walking on the wire cable? If no! You’ll see in my post…..or you may come to Phatthalung to see them by yourself! ;))

As I told you before, my house is near Wat Khuha Sawan that is situated in the middle of the mountain, most monkeys came from there! Some monkeys came from a small hill in front of my house.

It’s amazing that there are almost 100 monkeys walking in a row on the wire cable to go to somewhere else that I think someone may give some foods to them. We can see them at the same time in the evening every day.

You will see how clever they are… If you can notice, they used their tails to catch another wire cable to control balance of their bodies while walking. Some monkeys had their kids on or under their bodies…. Really amazing that they still can walk perfectly over there!

No one trained them to do this. They are wild monkeys living in nature and not in a circus.

This is a hill in front of my house.....and you will see a lot of monkeys from there!

And this is not in the wild forest, but it’s in the center of the town…and the following photo you can see same road that the monkeys crossed over on the wire cables….

You will see Khao Ok Thalu as a background – the view is in front of my house.

I think you may see various monkeys nearby your area, but these monkeys which are nearby my area are different from the ones you saw, for sure!

That’s why I would like to share these photos with you! ;D

Thank you for posting @tangmo.

What lovely photographs of these monkeys.....the endlessly fascinating creature. They make it look so easy....crossing the wires...do they not?

Now where is the game...Barrel of Monkeys...for us to play?

Thank you for bringing these photographs to Steemit.

Wishing you and yours a Happy Christ-mas. Cheers.

Thanks so much for your nice comment and your stopping by. I highly appreciate for your great support to my work.

Great wordings about monkeys, “the endlessly fascinating creature”! I really like this! Yes, I absolutely agree with you, they make it look so easy crossing the wires. I think they are experts in doing this, right?

All the best to you and yours on Christmas, too! ;)

Nice captures of the monkeys, its something I would never see in the wild here in Arizona.

Thanks so much for your nice comment! I’m really glad that you like my photos of those monkeys. Yes, I think that most of you would never see them, so I shared those photos with you. ;)

That is a lot of monkeys! It's interesting how they travel in such big groups. Do any of them ever get electrocuted on the wires, or cause the power to go out? It's amazing to me how some animals are so good at figuring out how to live with people!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Yes, they are very interesting and amazing as well. I think they don't get hurt by the electric on the wire... They love to visit my house every day! ;)

That would be so neat to see monkeys every day! I hope you have only the good ones and not so many naughty ones! Hold onto your drinks! ; )

Yes, I do hope that those monkeys are all good! And I don't even think to hold any drinks when I see monkeys.... ;)

Are the monkeys quiet, or do they call to each other all day?

Those monkeys are very quiet.... They just walked and walked in a row and I didn't heard anything from them. I think they didn't even talk among themselves.... ;)

Wow -- quiet monkeys would be nice in one way, without a lot of noise. But you have to be on the lookout all the time, for the quiet monkeys! Sneaky monkeys! ; )

Yes, I have to be on the lookout all the time....as you said! ;D

I have seen turkeys on the wires in my home town, but never have I seen a monkey. Let along a whole troop of them. That is amazing, and there are so many of them.
Actually, there are no monkeys in my country, at least naturally occurring ones, so that may be why we never see them. You are lucky (except when they take your Mother's Coke can) to have them to enjoy. What fun to see that whenever you look out the window. Thanks for sharing your little menagerie of primates with us.

WOW! Turkeys on the wires, really amazing! There is no turkey in Thailand....so I have never seen one of them in my area, too! I would love to see them. It would be really great if you can take some photos of them and share with us here, when you visit your home town. ;)

If I stay in Phatthalung, I would enjoy seeing them every day... They are really cute indeed! Yes, it would be so much fun to see them whenever I look out the window, as you said! Unfortunately, there is no monkey around the place I stay now! ;)

Oh my! Those were a lot monkeys! Theyre not that common here in the Philippines and I've only seen monkeys in captivity. There are probably a lot of those in our moutains too. It's awesome that you were able to take a picture of them and I agree, they really are clever creatures (and naughty too!- I can't get over the monkey taking your mom's soda) 😀

Thanks so much for your nice comment! Yes, I absolutely agree with you, they are really clever! I think, there probably a lot of monkeys in your mountains, too! Because we have the same climate and environment, right? I'm happy that you like the pictures of them.... ;)

Omg that is so cool! I wish I could get to see something like that here in Vegas.

Thank you very much for your nice comment and visiting my blog! I'm glad to hear that you like these monkeys, too! You are welcome to see them here.... ;)

Hahaha they're very cute @tangmo. They're very smart too... they managed to enter my apartment and steal my food too when i was staying next to the forest.

Sorry to hear that the monkey steal your food from your apartment....Oh! They can manage it! Yeah, really smart! Ha ha! Anyway, I think they are really cute, as you said! ;D

Thanks so much for your nice comment and sharing your experience with me! ;))

How great . I wish I would see them somewhere here in real habitat. I love your shots and the whole story ;))) I think I heard them in the jungle on the island but I couldn't be certain :))) Have a splendid day my dear ;))

Thanks so much for your nice comment! I think there are some monkeys in the jungle nearby your place and you would find them someday. :)) I'm glad you love my photos and the whole story! ;)
