Webtoons are generally the manga of this generation. There is such a wide range in variety in their creation that you could never be bored of it. So if you are try for first time then following are the webtoon I recommend.

1. Tale of Eun Aran
   You might read or watch a shounen and think “Yeah, it’d be great to be a hero and be powerful.” But being a hero means that you’re fighting and sometimes the war isn’t even your own. This webtoon is also like a litmus test, do you think they should give in to the darkness or fight to protect even though it’s harder?

2. The Gamer
   You’ve been bored and thought “man, I wish life was more like a game.” This webtoon weaves a world out of this one wish and mixes magic, the abyss, and good old fashioned gamer grinding skills to level up. A must read for anyone who games.

3. Dear Only You Don’t Know
   The author says the story is about the things a woman must hide at all costs. From yakuza bosses to makeup addicts, it’s like a slideshow of the daily struggles of women. The comedy will smother you and the surprisingly sweet romances will make you go “awww.” This webtoon will cheer you up no matter what.

4. Noblesse
   Yes, it has vampires. No, it’s not like Vampire Knights. Nobelsse is probably one of the most well known webtoons by non-fans of the genre and is definitely a gateway webtoon. With a blend of humor and action, this story is addictive.

5. DICE: The Cube That Changes Everything
   This webtoon will hurt. Not because it covers very dark topics, but becuase you’re a control freak. And you can’t control anything that happens in DICE. It starts out simple enough for you to fall in love with it but then it changes. This webtoon is for the brave.

6. God of High School
   You like fighting? You like each arc taking things to a whole new level? You love Gurren Lagann and basically want a webtoon that is like that but on crack? God of High School starts off normal enough and then just powers up. It also ties into Dragon Ball in a way you’ll just have to find out for yourself, because it’s a delicous spoiler.

7. Tower of God
   Everything you know is wrong in ToG. Your morals, your predictions, your hopes and fears will get tossed around in this violent tsunami of an emotional ride. It’s unofficially a masterpiece, but only because we’re waiting to see how it ends. If you’re going to read just one webtoon, read this now.
