Castle in the Sky Laputa

This Laputa is a wonderful movie made by director Hayao Miyazaki with excellent originality, and Studio Ghibli led by him.
Music is not only wonderful, it is also an existence that makes this magnificent movie complete. It left a vivid impression in all scenes. You make the audience feel like having an adventure in the sky with your character.

Nonetheless, I feel somewhat uncomfortable with this English voice. At first it could not understand what it is. However, when Puzu issued a word, I realized the identity of discomfort. I wonder, I was incredulous. This is violence to the ear! Disney, why did not you use a younger voice actor? Why did not you use a better voice actor? Then I noticed even more frustrating points. It's music. Disney has changed music to another thing! I skipped the chapters and saw the scene where Pasoo and Theta lost to Laputa. I think this is the best scene of this work. But here again the music is more relaxed than the Japanese version and the arrangement has also been changed.

Well, what has become of the English version of music all along? Joe Hisaishi is one of the composers who are recognized and respected most by Japan (in my opinion Yoko Kanno). After examining it, it seems that Disney asked Hisaishi to rewrite the music for the English version.
