The trip part is worse than usual.. it's far and planes involved and all. Not sure about history, depends where you go. But people, culture, food!! everything's so much different. Try it, at least once. Highly recommended and see it for yourself if that destination is yours or not :)
Steemfest was supposed to be my gateway to Asia, but alas it was not to be. One day for sure.
