Blue Light 💡💠 What is it and why do these glasses help? 👓

Blue light is actually everywhere - it's simply in the short-wavelength spectrum of light all around us, but specifically in articifical light and light emitted from phone/computer screens 👩🏻‍💻📱

Blue light was never a big problem for humanity - but since our lifestyle has become more and more digital, most people are overly exposed to blue light.
Overexposure to blue light suppresses the secretion of melatonin in the body, meaning it messes with your sleep cycle 😴

### These glasses that I'm wearing in the video are blocking the blue light, filtering out the harmful wavelengths and therefore protecting my eyes.

You can get these all over the internet for anywhere between $10-$60.

I have blue light glasses as well. You gave out some great info. I also use F.lux on my phone to help minimize the blue light on my screen at night. It gives a warm color that is much softer on the eyes. You can use it on your laptop screen as well.

Thank you! Yes it’s called Night Shift on iOS, I also use that on my phone and laptop additionally. Feels much better on the eyes 👀
