I have moved all my content away from the now centralized and controlled Steem blockchain to the decentralized Hive blockchain.
Super excited for the APPICS SMT! I’m looking to invest at least something in the ICO. APPICS can help with user interface and easier posting requirements that can help with mass adoption! Looking forward to the rest of 2018!! Thanks for the post! Resteem

One other great thing..in their white paper they set aside, I believe, 12M Appics to airdrop to STEEM holders.
So there are many ways to get Appics tokens without paying for them.
I liked what you said about a separate ecosystem altogether...Steepshot is cool but it makes the blog part of Steemit very messy if one is taking a lot of pics.
Interesting idea to reserve a few STEEM to pay for Appics...are their levels like Dolphin the same...do you have a breakdown of what their levels are?
I just assumed to use the same classification for Dolphin as on Steemit: 5000 SP or 10.000.000 MVests.
Great point about the airdrop! I knew that but I forgot about it in the video. It’s an awesome bonus for all of us and might enrich the Appics ecosystem. But it also puts a selling pressure on the coin.
Initially it could although with only 12M slated for airdrop, each person, based upon 256M, would get roughly .04 Appic per STEEM. Therefore there wont be all that many issued to make people rush out and sell it.
The Whales might dump but I figure I will get about 680 Appics...at .15 that is about $100...not worth selling might as well hold.
I thought I’d seen in their communications somewhere that it is a controlled drop, not just airdropping on all Steem holders. I believe they may just have tokens set aside to give to influencers and community leaders they’ll recruit and handpick. I’ll have to see if I can find where I saw that...
That is news to me...not saying it isnt the case....
If that is so, I would love to see it....it would be great if you could find it.
12M to the entire STEEM ecosystem doesnt make sense when I think about it...what you are saying makes a bit more sense.

To be honest, I still don't understand the need for SMTs. Why cant they just build these applications on the Steem Blockchain directly? Why dilute the pool with so many other tokens? I tried asking @ned on YouTube but I don't think he'll ever see it.
I'm only just beefing up my SP here, I feel it's a bit of a distraction to jump to SMTs. Am I crazy? I know I'm missing something crucial here. I'd be grateful if someone clears this up for me :)
The SMT's WILL be built on the Steem blockchain, but will allow people to create their own tokens, that can grow diverse and focused communities. The benefit for Steem holders will be that all these people will have to go through the Steem blockchain to do it, as well as use Steem to trade in these newly-created tokens.
I suggest that you read the SMT Whitepaper - it's 60 pages and it blew my mind with all the possibilities it presents for Steem.
I think it has the potential to make Steem the number one blockchain in the world, and I do not say that lightly!

I agree with @tasmaster4450 concerning the difference to steepshot. I would love to use steepshot a lot. Just posting a pic, but then it feels like one is not being regarded as "lazy" if you don't write a lot of text, even if you had to fly to the other side of the world to get that pic. So I am excited for Appics!

They have really done above expectations in promoting their steem-based cryptocurrency. Well, let me watch the video to know the reason why you are very much excited about it and probably I could learn one or two things from you in terms of its usage.

Ich denke einfach das es viel einfacher zu adaptieren ist, als Steemit.

Ich habe my ehrlich gesagt noch gar keine Gedanken darüber gemacht wie ich die tokens speicher. Da sie vor der SMT Einführung rauskommen werden sie via Ethereum zwischengepsichert, oder?
Meines Wissens nach ja.
Die Macher davon haben in einem ihrer Newsletter auch empfohlen sie via myetherwallet zu speichern.
Wenn du eine konkrete Vorgehensweise hast, dann lass es mcih wissen :)

Appics on of the interesting and exciting project looks quite fun and a great project but it needs to come soon as it already got some competitors
Well, I think it will get the Steem bonus and find just a bunch of content producers from Steemit who will migrate both content wise as well as financially. Plus, Appics will most likely get tons of investor money. They are doing an amazing job flying around the world and presenting Appics at big conferences.
