Appreciations are always a feel good factor
No matter where it comes from, you always feel good when someone appreciates you. Last week my friends had come down from Mumbai, which I had mentioned, they were 3 adults and 2 kids. It was a super hectic week and also the Diwali festives going on, there was too much to attend to. While it was hectic with their presence the house was filled with cheer and laughter. Especially both the kids, they are so adorable and loving. They left last evening, and the house feels empty again. For the past 10 days I was waking up with the sound of the kids, they would wake up early and come banging my bedroom door to wake me up and then they would jump on the bed and we would have a playful time for half an hour at least before starting the day.
Evening time I would take them to the play park near my home, and that was such an excitement for them. I am already missing them so much. While leaving both the kids made this sweet little note for me and gave it to me. I was so emotional reading it. As it is I am very fond of kids and this sweet gesture from them truly swayed me away. We gave each other a tight hug and bid good bye. The kids did not want to leave, but then there was no choice, they had to go.
With a heavy heart I had to bid them good bye :-(

@nainaztengra, this post is absolutely heartwarming! The way you captured the joy and energy the kids brought to your home, especially amidst the Diwali festivities, is truly touching. Those little notes are just the sweetest – you can feel the genuine affection radiating from them. It’s amazing how children can fill our lives with such simple, pure happiness. This post is a wonderful reminder to cherish those moments and appreciate the love around us. Thanks for sharing this glimpse into your life; it definitely brought a smile to my face. I'm sure many others can relate to that bittersweet feeling of missing loved ones after they leave. What a lovely way to celebrate the spirit of family and connection! I hope you get to see them again soon!
