Hi steemian friend, how are you ...?
Today saw the weather that is less supportive of my activities, then I opened the technology news to read it. Make your steemian friends what you know about a new Application created by Former US National Security Agency (NSA) employee Edward Snowden. Here he is waiting to prevent theft, robbery or other activities that are easily known by the owner, Edward Snowden created a new Application that is named "Haven"

For more details about this I quote from Kompas.com; http://amp.kompas.com/tekno/read/2017/12/28/16140007/aplikasi-buatan-snowden-ubah-ponsel-android-jadi-mata-mata-

Former US National Security Agency (NSA) officer who is now US fugitive, Edward Snowden, created a new application titled "Haven". The app allows Android smartphones to "spy" to fight piracy.

Operations such as surveillance system alias surveillance system, using a smartphone camera, audio recorder, and accelerometer sensor, to detect the suspicious movements of the ignorant elements.

For example, you put your Android smartphone and activate Haven. You then put the Android smartphone next to the laptop whose contents are important data.

If someone else approaches the laptop and is about to hack it, Haven will automatically detect motion, snap, and record the audio. The evidence will be sent via SMS, short message application "Signal", or Tor-based site.

Edward Snowden was not alone in developing Haven. He works with a community that is equally concerned with privacy security, namely The Guardian Project and Freedom of The Press.

Together, they want the Android smartphone could be an extension of the eyes and ears of the community to keep valuables, as compiled KompasTekno, Thursday (28/12/2017), from Techcrunch.

Haven is specifically more directed towards direct piracy prevention. Edward Snowden and colleagues realize that technological devices with strong encryption systems will remain weak if hacking is done physically, where the hacker immediately opens the victim's laptop and does things as he likes or termed "evil maid". Can be to supervise the home and office.

A Freedom of the Press member who helped test Haven, Micah Lee, admitted the app still has far from perfect. Some of the challenges involve constant internet access for notifications, keeping the battery wasteful, and reducing false alarms.

However, Haven offers something new to ensure a sense of security for the community. In addition to piracy, actually Haven in general can also be for many things.

"Haven can also be used for security systems at home or office. Haven can send any evidence if any stranger stalks into the house or office, "Micah Lee explained.

"In addition, NGOs can monitor life in rural areas, targeting evidence of human rights abuses such as oppression and violence in secret," he added. Haven is an open source application and can be downloaded through the Google Play Store.

From now on we can be more clear to use his work. Maybe this is a criminal prevention experiment against us we quickly know or we already have the sixth sense. Thank you may be useful.
