Aquarium before and after pruning. The first photo represents one week and a half without maintenance of any type, causing work away.
Plants were literally invading the whole aquarium, especially Ammannia Senegalensis (in the center) and Rotala Rotundifolia (right). Even the lotus had made too much leaves, risking to create too many areas of shade and consequently not to grow the Alternanthera.
With proper pruning, planting of some plants (removing the oldest) and a partial change of water, the aquarium is back!

@roused

yeah, thank you for this kind comment, I've appreciated :)

Looks so much better after you fixed it!

ahah, that's true! Thanks

Nice aquarium, it really takes some looking after or these plants go for a growing spree! I love having aquarium, but because I often travel it's simply not possible, especially with the poor house isolation here in China. I had a salt water aquarium in my office and one weekend the air conditioner stopped working, no fish survived.. Really terrible

Really terrible, sorry :(
That's why I prefer freshwater aquariums, they are simpler to keep and they "forgive" the mistakes.
The tank temperature in this summer has exceeded 32 °, a great problem for fishes (Unfortunately I found some dead fish).

You are absolutely right, fresh water aquarium are definitely easier to maintain . South Europe has really experienced an extremely hot summer.

You definitely have to keep up with plants in aquariums. I have ponds and its a constant job to maintain the plants but definitely worth it.

That's true, plants are awesome and beautiful!

The result is good, for sure you take good care and plants will grow again...
Do you also put fish in the aquarium ?

I'll make some photos of the aquatic fauna. About 10+ fish are present!
