Here in Louisiana we call it "crawfishing" because crawfish speed away in reverse when threatened. I also enjoy when public servants who view themselves as "officials" say something so dumb and then later say it was a joke. Just like that sheriff who said he would have his deputies shoot people who didn't go along with gun confiscation.
