The Notre-Dame cathedral is the only temple of its kind in Luxembourg.
It is located in the heart of a stunning city. Luxembourg is surrounded by the picturesque, beautiful valleys of the Alzette and Pettruse rivers. Its construction began in 1613. Looking at her, I notice the dominant gothic style .
Opened doors invite you inside the temple. The darkness filling the interior of the cathedral hides magnificent altars. Finished with excellent sculptural elements.
From a distance I can see beautiful stained-glass windows in the presbytery and transept. They fit perfectly into the gothic interior. They are wonderful

It is truly amazing how much art and effort went into that decor inside (and out). Amazing, and with old-world tools and such. Thanks for the look inside. Never been to Europe, but maybe someday. I'm pretty sure I'd fill 1700 Sandisk cards when there. SO much to see and photo. Cheers

Europe has this burden of bloody history, dictatorships and many occupations, but the remains, that is, buildings, churches, places it is all, old, but still proud Europe :)
