🖌Before Snow_aquarelle on paper
Painting this quick watercolour drawing, I was thinking about the beauty of each season. Thinking about what would be the title of my drawing, I lost the sense of time. Before snow was the perfect title and reminds me about Alice in Wonderland.
I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says 'Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again. Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
It's like everything is getting naked, barren during the Autumn, just because is waiting for the white blanket of snow. I think birds know that! ;)

There's something about the leaden feel of the sky before a snowfall.
That sharp smell in the air that you can almost taste.
