Black Bear studies and artwork.

Here is a surprise thank you to @ursa! Apparently they love black bears XD

I started this drawing by planing the composition.

I wasn't aiming for an overly realistic style in my colouring, i wanted to be more so expressive than photo-realistic.

Somewhere along the way i had decoded to make this a study of various images of black bears found on google images. I altered what I saw slightly to fit my illustration style, the composition and the colour theme.

I found it difficult to keep my illustration style consistent between all the bears, there were meant to be more but the begun to visually differ to the point that they looked odd.

Using the references I built up an environment, I still have to learn how to refine and put detail into the scenery of my drawings.

Well there it all is! I hope everyone my learning and process. I don't usually draw up surprise artwork but i think this went well.
