New Year tree made of polymer clay.

in #art5 years ago

Hello. We prepared for the November contest with our daughters. She proposed to mold a polymer clay Christmas tree. As a result, we got not one, but two Christmas trees. A plump snowball was placed nearby.

The figure turned out to be small, but it will look great on any holiday table, creating a New Year's atmosphere.

For work, we needed:

polymer clay,
skewer
spoke.
We rolled a small cone out of green polymer clay.

Below they pierced a piece of skewer. This will be the trunk of our future tree.

The second Christmas tree is done the same way, but it is a little smaller.

An asterisk was placed on the first Christmas tree.

They rolled a ball of brown clay and gave it a flattened shape.

They made two holes in it. We do this with the help of those skewers that pierced the Christmas trees.

That's how our Christmas trees stand firmly on the stand.

We supplemented the tree with balls of different colors.

Dots of white clay were placed on a stand. They will imitate a snowball.

My daughter blinded a bullfinch so quickly that I did not manage to capture the whole process. The bullfinch took its place of honor. We supplemented the Christmas tree with a relief using knitting needles. They sent the figure to bake for 10 minutes.

Thank you all for your attention.
