I have, this one in particular was given to me made already, so yes and no? I am mainly an artist...but i know how to stretch and dry the drums myself from deerhide
The red one took about 6-8 hours of actual paint time, normally I draw the design, transfer it to the drum and paint it all in one sitting...I'm always anxious to finish.

That's really cool! I saw portions of my friends work on a hand drum, and it seems like it takes a lot of patience!
