Beautiful painting. I don't know much about the process, but it's interesting to see that you put the main features first, and add the details later. It makes perfect sense, but I don't know if it would have occurred to me if I were to start painting.
one layer for the sketch so you know where colors are better to be. then paint over and when you like it you start details. It was a fast painting process the lighting took a lot of time though.. I am gonna do some dogies next.
