Kawaii Fluffy Kitteh Cat (^• ω •^)

in #art7 years ago (edited)

Hello once again! ヾ(o^.^o)

Today I'm going to show u how to do simple cat sticker. I'm going to kinda teach you basics or at least how to use certain tools I used. I hope you will like it.

I'm working in 2 programs :

  • paint tool sai (sai)
  • Adobe Illustrator (Ai)
The process shouldn't be too hard. it's actually pretty easy. I was working in Ai because of its vector graphics, but if want to work in any other program that's fine.

The end result should look something like this ^^!

So let's get started!

  1. you will need a sketch. u can do it in 3 different ways:
a)u can do it like I did. I sketched the cat in sai and then file saved as a .jpg file and import it in AI.
    b) you can draw the sketch on paper ( if u don't have the graphics tablet, this is the best option)
    c) you don't use the sketch and with (Pen) tool just start to draw and go solo (>ω<)

    • Well, what you choose is up to you, but I'm going to show you how to do 1st option^^.
      01.jpg
  2. Once u have this done, save sketch in a .jpg file and place it in Ai. you do that with clicking File-->Place--> Chose the image and place it.
    02.jpg
    Alright we can do it!ヽ(o^▽^o)ノ

  3. Create a new layer above the image. Lower down the Opacity of the image to 50%, take the Pen tool and trace the image in that new layer.
    03_LI.jpg

  4. Create a new layer ( try to create a new layer for every new element of the project(⌒‿⌒). It is pain in the a**, but it will help you) and just color every section with the color you like. I was coloring with brush tool because I have the graphics tablet, but if u color it with the mouse it should be fine too. Also, your work will look better if you choose colors that match. Here you can see that the cat's fur is not orange but slightly pink because of the fur under the head which is red/pink. Try to play with different combinations (★ω★)/.

  5. Now chose darker color and line just those areas which are in shadows. you can repeat the process with an even darker shade like this:
    05.jpg

  6. Practically u can finish here but I decided to go further and added wings and tail with the same methods.
    06.jpg
    07.jpg08.jpg

  7. In the end you can just add some details like blush and angel ring like I did (it's the same process) e00985cc-ca04-46f7-a2a5-b8fc07102764.jpg

Well if u came this far, u made it! \(^▽^)/CONGRATS

Good job 😁💪 keep steemin 😁👌❤️

Mohammed loved cats and reportedly his favorite cat, Muezza, was a tabby. Legend says that tabby cats have an “M” for Mohammed on top of their heads because Mohammad would often rest his hand on the cat’s head.

Oh i didn't knew that ^^

Many cats cannot properly digest cow's milk. Milk and milk products give them diarrhea.

Cats that live together sometimes rub each others heads to show that they have no intention of fighting. Young cats do this more often, especially when they are excited.

The leopard is the most widespread of all big cats.
