St. Maria im Kapitol #2

Hello to everybody...

even in St.Maria inside the church, there are above the confessional some bones belonging to a whale.
It seems that the poor animal has lost its sense of direction and he went inside the river Rhine. The whale should have swum against tide for age, its powerful body must have became ill and finally it has surrendered and died near Cologne.

The bones are there to be seen....
