Consistency and Patreon

I launched my Patreon page in January of 2015, and by the end of the month, I had close to 20 patrons who were pledging a total of $70 a month. Not a huge amount, but the amount of growth that had happened in one month had me excited about the possibilities!

I tried to keep up with posting as often as I could, but found myself being incredibly inconsistent in my paid posts, which resulted in a slow decline of pledges, and by June of 2016, I was down to 9 pledges and 22 coming in each month. I felt like I had let a lot of people down, and until now I hadn't really done much to win any of those patrons back.

So this year I decided to rejuvenate my Patreon page, and am on the road to mapping out a legit schedule (my plan is to release at least 2 process videos each month) and redeem myself a bit. It's hard to promote your Patreon page when you have huuuuge gaps between posts and updates.

So, if anyone is interested, you can check out what I'm doing over at https://www.patreon.com/drawsgood
