Perched
Sometimes when I start a painting I have no idea what it will become. I just let it happen and follow the shapes and colors and work at it until I'm satisfied, even if it means painting over layers again and again just keeping the little bits I like. I find this to be a very rewarding process. I believe this one started as a bunch of cogs in a floating machine and slowly morphed into a strange red bird perched on a branch. It's 11 x14 acrylic on canvas and is still available. Message me if you are interested in making it yours.
